HomeA beautiful two bedroom fully furnished and very comfortable apartment in the Centro of Guanajuato, with a large garden, a balcony, a terrace, patios and a rooftop terrace with a wonderful view of the city. There is good light in the apartment, good windows and sun in the gardens. There is a small front garden that looks towards the Centro off of San Isidro and there is a large garden in the back that is a refuge in the heart of the city. TO balcony comes off the master bedroom and looks into the garden. Very sweet. TO staircase leads to the rooftop terrace. The view from there is stunning. There is a king sized semi-soft memory foam bed in the master bedroom and a full sized bed in the smaller bedroom. There is plenty of closet space in both. There is an open family room with the TV and sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and breads, etc. The bathroom is very nice and the water heater works very well. There is a laundry room with a large washing machine available downstairs. There are two handy propane heaters for those chilly mornings. San Isidro is a driving street so a taxi or Uber can drop you at your door. There is street parking not too far from the apartment. Shops for everything are nearby. Things are easy here. The walk down to the Plaza de Baratillo or Plaza de la Paz or the University is an easy five minute walk. San Isidro 13, the tall blue house, is above the Baratillo. The easiest route up is from the University steps up the Calzada de Guadalupe and a cut-over on San Pablo Alley. The direct route up is on Carcamanes and a left turn at San Isidro. That gets a little steep, so the Calzada is preferred. There is also a little bus that goes up the Calzada from the University steps regularly. The beauty of the apartment location is that it is just far enough up to get away from the noise of El Centro, but close enough to make access to events and the plaza very easy. I am more than happy to share all the secrets we have learned, such as the best little bakeries and fruit shops, the bus routes, etc. We have come to know the neighbors and they are sweet people. It is a family neighborhood. The rent includes all utilities except the propane ($25.00 per month) and the fiber optic internet ($35.00 per month). There is a one-time cleaning fee of $50.00.
